About Smartphones

Let me tell you the story of the smartphones. It was a time, in the very past, when the mobile phone didn’t even exist. Then, someone really smart thought at creating a very nice device that could be used for talking and also that could be portable. And so, the mobile phone was created. With the time, people started to complain about the big size that couldn’t fit their bags, their pockets and so on. So, the size decreased.

And then, some other people complained about the fact that they would like to have an all in one device that could be used for listening to the music, for watching movies and so on. And another really smart someone, did this dream come true. Because they were so smart, and you could do so many things on them, they were called smartphones. The end.

Even if it seems that I made some kind of joke up there, which I did, the essence remains the same. The evolution of the mobile phones into smartphones was the one that I mentioned as a funny store above. But, the thing is that not every company of phones had the same trajectory, some of them forgetting a little bit about the main function of a smartphone, which is the PHONE function. I have met some famous phones such as the Apple iPhones, that had really bad signal, or they were having a distortion when you were hearing the voice. And this was quite annoying, due to the fact that it is a smartphone so it is supposed to do things far harder than to make a good phone call.

Because I don’t have a problem with the Apple phones and I don’t want you to understand this, I will give another example of a smartphone that wasn’t so smart as they were saying and here I talk about the Nokia E63 model, which is a business model. I even thought at buying it at a particular moment in time, but after seeing the interface that was so unfriendly, I have changed my mind. “You are able to send mails and allow me to watch movies on you, but you look that bad and you have this interface?”, this being my main question when I saw it.

But don’t think that I only criticize the smartphones, because it isn’t so. Even those that have been mentioned above also have really good things on them, and this is why they are so famous and they are really well sold.

The main idea is to try on your smartphone when you decide buying it, just to be sure that it is as smart as they say it is.
